At a recent presentation ceremony, Window Fitters Mate (WFM) the
‘The Supplier of the Year Award’ is intended to acknowledge service and quality and is designed to identify and recognise the best of the company’s suppliers over the last twelve months.
WFM branch managers were asked to complete a questionnaire and nominate the best supplier in the following categories: Frames, Glass, Door Panels and Conservatory Roofs.

“The Supplier of the year initiative was an idea that was originally suggested by one of our branch managers and is designed to recognise and congratulate WFM suppliers for their continued service and the quality of their products. Each WFM
“All of the winners in The Supplier of the Year Award have contributed significantly to the continued success of Window Fitters Mate in the highly competitive field of replacement windows and doors. I would also like to thank all of the branch managers for taking the time to complete the survey.’
The 2008 WFM Supplier of the Year Roll of Honour is;
Frames category; John Fredericks of Huddersfield,
Martin Hall of John Fredericks commented;
“John Fredericks is immensely proud to be named as Frame Supplier of 2008 to WFM, given the considerable competition and it is particularly pleasing that the outcome has been determined by the votes of the branch managers, who interact and work on a day to day level with both the product and the company”.
Glass category; Uniglaze of New Costessey,
Mervyn Raby of Uniglaze said;
“We are delighted to be declared WFM’s Supplier of the Year 2008 and look forward to another equally successful relationship together in the coming year!”
Door Panel category; Plasway of Stockport
Adele Hopper of Plasway said;
“The Directors and staff at Plasway are delighted to have been given the prestigious ‘Supplier of the Year’ award for the supply of door infill and conservatory panels”.
“It is with this level of success achieved in just three months of supplying all WFM branches that Plasway now has the foundations on which to build an even stronger relationship in 2009”.
Conservatory Roof category; SIG Roofing
Mark Davies of SIG Roofing said at the presentation ceremony;
“This award is a reflection of our companies long established strategy to manufacture the Ultraframe Classic-Plus roof system incorporating additional on site time saving fabrication features”.
